Launched in 2015, "il Tagliere" caps the study on innovation and tradition embodied by the the work of Michelin-star chef Gianni D'Amato and award-winning Acetaia San Giacomo.

 

Twenty-five, limited edition "il Taglieresigned by Chef D'Amato  are available for you to share the food traditions and beautiful landscapes of Emilia Romagna with anyone, anywhere in the world.

Crafted with innovative technology and inspired by the traditions and territory at the heart of Emilia Romagna's world-renowned culinary heritage, "il Tagliere" brings a compelling new food experience to the table.

 

This dynamic serving piece was created using the topographic map of the Apennines, the plains of Reggio Emilia below, and the Po River. Celebrate regional specialties - like Parmigiano Reggiano and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar from Reggio Emilia, D.O.P. - by serving them on the contours that have shaped the flavors of the "Food Valley" for hundreds of years.

 

As much a piece of art as a serving board, "il Tagliere" is made in rich cherry wood - the same warm material used in barrels that age traditional balsamic vinegar. The variations in the grains of the wood and the superb craftsmanship of our artisan partners at Atelier di Cucina mean no two "il Tagliere" are exactly alike.
